A BUNCH OF ENTRIES ACCORDING TO WANDA CORNELIUS WHO HEADED
UP THE CONTEST. WINNERS BELOW:
JACKSON COUNTY SUPERVISOR JACK WILLEY TOOK FIRST PLACE IN THE
CARVED DIVISION.
DORIS CURRIER TOOK 2ND PLACE IN CARVED CATEGORY.
JACKSON COUNTY (AND KMAQ) MASTER GARDNER JUDY TONDERUM
CAME IN 3RD IN THE CARVED DIVISION. HER PUMPKIN HAD REAL IOWA
DIRT AND IT WAS GROWING THE LITTLE VEGGIES IN HER GNOME GARDEN.
A COUPLE GNOMES ARE ENJOYING THE PRODUCE. CLEVER ENTRY!
WHY DID I SAY KMAQ ABOVE? A COUPLE TIMES A MONTH, JUDY DOES
THE ENTIRE "JUST TALK" SHOW ON KMAQ, ALONG WITH ANOTHER
GUEST GARDNER. JUDY HAS BEEN DOING THESE SHOWS FOR AT LEAST
20 YEARS AND EACH GARDENING SHOW IS A FAVORITE WITH MANY
KMAQ LISTENERS.
THELMA NISSEN TOOK FIRST PLACE IN THE DECORATED DIVISION.
MARGARET FOWLER TOOK 2ND PLACE IN DECORATED CATEGORY.

MARILYN RANKIN TOOK 3RD PLACE IN DECORATED PUMPKIN DIVISION.
THE HAT WAS HER MOTHERS. SHE HAS A PHOTO OF HER MOTHER WEARING IT. SHE LIVED IN WISCONSIN. MARILYN WORKED FOR
KMAQ MANY, MANY HALLOWEENS AGO.
