THE MAQUOKETA "HARD WORKING" ROTARY CLUB
SATURDAY HELPED CLEAR FENCES AT PRAIRIE
CREEK.    JACKSON COUNTY CONSERVATION
DIRECTOR DARYL PARKER HELPED THE CLUB.

SHE'S A POPULAR MINISTER HERE IN MAQUOKETA.
I GOT THIS PICTURE LAST WEEK WHEN HAVING
COFFEE AT McDONALDS.   PART TIME PASTOR SUSAN LeBLANC
SERVES THE EAST IRON HILL CHURCH....A GREAT
LITTLE CHURCH NORTHWEST OF MAQUOKETA.
VISIT SOMETIME!   SHE IS ALSO PRESIDENT OF THE MAQUOKETA LIONS CLUB.   AND HER HUSBAND RAY IS TREASURER.   NO LONG SERMONS BY HER.

HOW ABOUT THAT HAT, SCARF AND THE SUSPENDERS?

FINIALLY HAD TIME TO TAKE OFF A COUPLE DAYS THIS PAST WEEKEND.    LEFT
TO RIGHT, MY BROHTER CHUCK (BLUE SHIRT) OF MILWAUKEE  .. TERRIBLE PICTURE OF ME .. THEN NANCY JO ..  SISTER-IN-LAW BETTY, WIFE OF BROTHER GERALD OF HORICON    CHUCK IS YOUNGEST AND GERALD IN THE MIDDLE.   ALL 4 YEARS APART.
CHUCK AND GERALD RETIRED.  NANCY AND I OF COURSE CHEERED FOR THE ST. LOUIS CARDINALS.    CHUCK, BETTY AND GERALD FOR THE  BREWERS.    CARDINALS WON 4 TO 1....TOOK 3 OF 4 IN THE SERIES AT BEAUTIFUL MILLER PARK.   GREAT WEATHER, BUT THEY STILL THEY HAD THE ROOF CLOSED FOR THE GAME.
HAD FUN WEEKEND.   ON WAY HOME, STOPPED AT A DULUTH FASCTORY OUTLET
STORE AT MONTICELLO, WISCONSIN (BUSY STORE) AND SPENT AN HOUR AT NEW GLARUS, THE SWISS CITY.   A VERY BUSY TOWN SUNDAY.     A GALENA-LIKE TOURIST
TOWN NORTH OF MONROE, BUT MAYBE EVEN BETTER THAN GALENA.    GET THIS,
I BOUGHT DULUTH UNDERWARE SHORTS FOR $30.   NO, NOT 3 PAIR FOR $30.
GOING DOWN THE HIGHWAY, THERE WAS A HUGE BILLBOARD, AND RIGHT IN MIDDLE
A PICTURE OF THE SHORTS.    THEY ARE WORTH THE MONEY.   I'LL BE ORDERING
SOME MORE.
