THURSDAY DAILY

A 90-MINUTE JACKSON COUNTY FAIR PARADE LAST NIGHT AND BIG TURNOUT AFTER AT THE FAIRGROUNDS.     ATTENDANCE THE FIRST DAY OF THE FAIR, 3,370, AND THAT COMPARES TO 3,017 LAST YEAR ON WEDNESDAY.
THIS YEAR, JUST ONE DRAWING FOR CASH AT THE
END OF THE GRANDSTAND SHOW AND THAT WAS LAST NIGHT.   FOUR WINNERS OF $250.    JOHN BANOWETZ OF BELLEVUE, JERRY WEIS OF MAQUOKETA, BAILYEY LINCOLN OF DEWITT AND
RACHAEL MANSON OF DELMAR. 

THE OVERALL WINNER OF THE PARADE WAS "GWEN'S PET GROOMING".    TAKING SECOND, FRIENDS OF THE MAQUOKETA CAVES.

THE MASTER GARDENERS HELD THEIR BASKET OF BLOOMS CONTEST YESTERDAY AT THE FAIR AND THE OVERALL WINNER WAS TINA COAKLEY OF MAQUOKETA.

TODAY IS KID'S DAY.

TONIGHT AT 6, STOCK CAR RACING.

TOMORROW IS SENIOR DAY.
