SUNNY BUT STILL COLD TODAY....ABOUT 20 DEGREES.
COLD TONIGHT, LOW OF 7 BELOW.
SNOW TOMORROW NIGHT AND SUNDAY....COULD HAVE AS MUCH AS 3 INCHES TOTAL.

BASKETBALL LAST NIGHT, MAKE-UPS WITH MT. VERNON.    BOTH
THE MAQUOKETA GIRLS AND BOYS LOST.
TONIGHT, THE CARDINAL BOYS PLAY HOST TO BENTON COMMUNITY IN WAMAC ACTION.
TONIGHT, THE HIGH SCHOOL BOWLERS WILL BOWL AT INDEPENDENCE.
SPEAKING OF BOWLING, LAST NIGHT AT TIMBER LANES IN THE SURBURBAN
BUD LITE LEAGUE, MARCUS PRULL ROLLED HIS FIRST 300 GAME.   HE
IS RELATED TO JACKSON COUNTY BANKER RICK PRULL AND I THINK
HE LIVES IN MONTICELLO.

TOMORROW, TWO CARDINAL WRESTLERS WILL WRESTLE IN THE DISTRICT
TOURNAMENT AT DEWITT AND THOSE THAT TAKE A 1ST OR 2ND PLACE IN THEIR WEIGHT, GO ON TO THE STATE TOURMAMENT IN DES
MOINES NEXT WEEK.    JACOB KLOFT WILL WRESTLE AT 170 POUNDS.
HE HAS A 33 AND 4 RECORD.    TREVOR BICKFORD WILL WRESTLE AT 285 POUNDS AND HE HAS A RECORD OF 27 AND 16.
DEWITT WILL HAVE 5 WRESTLERS IN THE DISTRICT.

I WILL HAVE SPORTS RESULTS FOR YOU HERE TOMORROW IN A SPECIAL
SATURDAY DAILY REPORT.

LOCAL H & R BLOCK OWNER, DAVE RICHARDS EMAILED ME TODAY SAYING
HE HAS HAD 12 LOCAL WINNERS.     AND THERE MAY BE MORE, WITH
FEBRUARY 15TH THE DEADLINE.    H & R BLOCK IS LOCATED IN DOWNTOWN
MAQUOKETA A BLOCK NORTH OF CITY HALL.   STILL TIME TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AND BE ELIGIBLE TO BE A SWEEPSTAKES WINNER.
