WE HAD A NICE DECEMBER, UNTIL NOW.
TODAY, WIND, SNOW (SEVERAL INCHES) RAIN, AND SLEET...
A FEW BUSINESS PLACES CLOSED EARLY TODAY.
I DON'T KNOW WHO THE BOYS ARE, BUT THEY WERE SHOOTING BASKETS IN THE RAIN AND
SNOW IN BRIAN AUNAN'S DRIVEWAY.
RICHARD SAGERS, 80, OF UNIVERSITY PLACE,
WASHINGTON, DIED THURSDAY. HE WAS BORN
IN MAQUOKETA TO HOWARD AND LULU SAGERS.
GRADUATED FROM MAQUOKETA HIGH IN 1952.
WAS A DENTIST FOR 32 YEARS. IS SURVIVED
BY HIS WIFE PAT, 2 CHILDREN, 3 GRANDCHILDREN,
AND A SISTER, LINDA HOLMGREN (MAQUOEKTA NATIVE) AND NOW OF DUBUQUE. THE FUNERAL
WILL BE HELD AT A LATER DATE.
