DOWNTOWN MAQUOKETA. SHE ALSO TOLD ME THAT GARY DUSTER OF "GARY'S GRAFFITI NIGHTS" WAS THE DJ. AND THAT THE "MAYOR'S CHOICE" WAS THE PLYMOUTH ROAD RUNNER SUPERBIRD FROM DUBUQUE.

AT THE LAST SCHOOL BOARD MEETING IN MAQUOKETA, NEW MEMBER LENKA CARSON WAS
SWORN-IN. THE BOARD RECEIVED FOUR RECOMENDATIONS TO HIRE AND ALL WERE APPROVED. THEY ARE: BILLIE CASEL AS MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHER ASSOCIATE, LAURA LUCKASON AS BRIGGS TEACHER ASSOCIATE, ASHLEY WIGGINS AS PROM ADVISOR, AND ROBERT DENNIS AS HIGH SCHOOL BUSINESS
EDUCATION AND AT-RISK TEACHER.
