LOCATION BY THE CLINTON ENGINES MUSEUM.
AND, DON'T FORGET...THE BIG GARAGE SALE SPONSORED BY THE
JACKSON COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS GOING ON NOW THROUGH
SATURDAY AT BOYER HALL ON THE FAIRGROUNDS.

MORE  ABOVE FROM MY 1945 MAQUOKETA NEWSPAPER.     KDTH IS
STILL A POPULAR NEWS STATION IN DUBUQUE.   KMAQ WENT ON THE
AIR 13 YEARS AFTER THIS AD.
M.W. JOINER WAS A GOOD MAQUOKETA CITIZEN AND WELL LIKED.
LUCIA THORNE (THINK HER DAD WAS CITY MANAGER) WAS ONE OF
MAQUOKETA'S MOST POPULAR SINGERS.    TO HAVE HER OWN SHOW
ON WHO WAS QUITE A THING.   RED HENTON WAS 25 THEN...PROBABLY
JUST AS BUSY AS LUCIA.

NANCY AND I TRIED OUT A TRACTOR MONDAY....THINKING OF BUYING ONE
AND THEN START FARMING.

HAVE A NICE WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY.
