JACKSON COUNTY FARM BUREAU

JACKSON COUNTY FARM BUREAU IS HEALTHY AND GROWING WITH 1,717 MEMBERS, UP FROM 1,684.     LAST NIGHT, THE ANNUAL DINNER MEETING WAS HELD AT THE HORIZON HALL IN BELLEVUE.    NICE WEATHER, TURNOUT,
DINNER AND PROGRAM.    TONY PORTZ OF SPRINGBROOK AREA CONDUCTED THE MEETING.   HE IS  NOW IN HIS SECOND AND FINAL YEAR AS
PRESIDENT.
ABOVE, THE GUEST SPEAKER, RITA COOK, ASSISTANT FIELD SPECIALIST FOR THE "COALITION TO SUPPORT IOWA'S FARMERS".    THIS ORGANIZATION IS 10 YEARS OLD, HAS A STAFF OF THREE, AND HAS ITS HEADQUARTERS IN
DES MOINES.    IT OFFERS LOTS OF FREE SERVICES TO IOWA FARMERS.
