TUESDAY DAILY REPORT

CLOUDY MOST OF THE MORNING AND SUNSHINE THIS AFTERNOON.

DEB LANE IS NO LONGER JACKSON COUNTY ASSESSOR.   HER RESIGNATION WAS OFFICIAL OCTOBER 31, ACCORDING TO JACKSON COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISOR CHAIRMAN JACK WILLEY.
ALSO, THE JACKSON COUNTY CONFERENCE BOARD, THAT GOVERNS
THE ASSESSOR, HAS THROUGH IT'S EXAMINING BOARD, RECEIVED 250 NAMES OF ELIGIBLE RESIDENTS  IN THE STATE AND THE  BOARD SENT LETTERS TO MOST ASKING IF THEY WOULD BE INTERESTED IN THE POSITION HERE.    DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS NOV. 20 AND THE EXAMING BOARD
WILL MEET THE DAY AFTER.     SOON AFTER, THE EXAM BOARD HOPES TO HAVE A NAME TO RECOMMEND TO THE CONFERENCE BOARD FOR A
JANUARY HIRING.
NEW LOCATION FOR SHANNON'S... FROM EAST PLATT
TO WEST PLEASANT STREET.

THE HALLOWEEN PARTY AND OPEN HOUSE LAST WEEKEND AT THE ANDREW OLD JAIL DREW ABOUT 400 PEOPLE.     COLD WEATHER BOTH DAYS, BUT
GOOD TURNOUT ANYWAY.   PLANS ARE TO HAVE IT AGAIN NEXT YEAR.\
NET PROCEEDS WILL GO TO THE JAIL RESTORATION FUND.

POLLS WILL BE OPEN UNTIL 9 TONIGHT.

LATER TONIGHT, I WILL HAVE SOME RESULTS UP HERE.

AND ON OUR INTERNET KMAQ HOME PAGE.    SHERI  MELVOLD AND
