FRIDAY DAILY REPORT

COOL AND 42
EVEN COOLER WEATHER COMING


THE OPTMIST CLUB PUTS OUT OVER 500 FLAGS AGAIN THIS WEEKEND FOR
VETERANS DAY.    THE LOCAL VETERANS DAY PROGRAM WILL BE AT 8:45
TUESDAY MORNING AT THE MAQUOKETA MIDDLE SCHOOL.

LOOKS LIKE I HAVE A COUPLE WINNERS WHO GUESSED MOST OF THE STAFF
ON THE SUNSHINE SCHOOL PHOTO.   MORE ON THIS MONDAY OR TUESDAY.


JACK & ASSOCIATES (JACK AND MARILYN WILLEY) ARE CELEBRATING THEIR 46TH ANNIVERSARY THIS MONTH....SAME LOCATION ON WEST PLATT.

AND THE POPULAR SUBWAY RESTAURANT IN MAQUOKETA CELEBRATES
THEIR 22ND ANNIVERSARY.   JOHN HARMS, MONTICELLO, OWNER.

CHECK THE PHOTO AND STORY BELOW ON A GAS STATION IN MAQUOKETA WHEN THERE WERE LOTS OF SMALL GAS STATIONS.   AND.... THAT DIDN'T SELL MUCH OF ANYTHING BUT GAS... AND WHEN GAS WAS CHEAP.
