WINDY AND COLD....58 TODAY.
DOWN TO 29 TONIGHT.
IN THE 40'S TOMORROW.
AND 22 TOMORROW NIGHT.
NO SNOW IN FORECAST YET.
IT WILL BE COLD FOR TRICK AND TREATING TOMORROW NIGHT IN
MAQUOKETA FROM 5:30 UNTIL 7:30.     MANY WILL AGAIN JUST GO TRICK OR TREATING LATE TOMORROW AFTERNOON AT THE YMCA PARKING LOT, WHERE  THE Y, SERVICE CLUBS AND OTHERS WILL HAVE THEIR TRUNKS
FILLED WITH GOODIES FOR THE GOBLINS.

BELLEVUE LOST THEIR PLAYOFF GAME AT DIKE LAST NIGHT, 42 TO 7.
NORTH CEDAR WON THEIR GAME BY ABOUT THE SAME SCORE AT
STANWOOD AND WILL HAVE THEIR NEXT GAME MONDAY NIGHT.
KMAQ'S MATT CLARK BROADCAST LAST NIGHT'S BELLEVUE GAME AND WILL BROADCAST THE NORTH CEDAR GAME MONDAY NIGHT ON KMAQ AND OUR WEB SITE HOME PAGE.....AT WWW.KMAQ.COM....STARTING AT 6:40 P.M.

HOUSE BELOW ON WEST PLATT STREET

THREE FIRE DEPARTMENTS WERE CALLED OUT YESTERDAY TO FIELD FIRES.
MAQUOKETA WAS CALLED AT 3 YESTERDAY AFTERNOON BY MARTY
HUDRLIK TO A FIRE IN A DITCH AT 81ST STREET AND  HIGHWAY 62, RURAL
MAQUOKETA.   FIREMEN WERE AT THE SCENE FOR 30 MINUTES.

RAYMOND LENDT, 89, FORMERLY OF LOWDEN AND TIPTON, DIED
MONDAY AT A HOME IN WEST LIBERTY.    HE WAS A FARMER MOST OF HIS
LIFE.  HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE HELEN, 1 SON AND 1 DAUGHTER, WENDY McDEVITT IN MAQUOKETA.    THE FUNERAL WILL BE SATURDAY MORNING
AT THE LUTHERAN CHURCH IN BENNETT.   FRY FUNERAL HOME IN TIPTON
IS IN CHARGE OF ARRANGEMENTS.
