ON AN OUTSTANDING ARREST WARRANT ON JUNE 20TH.    SHE WAS CHARGED WITH THEFT IN THE FIRST DEGREE.    SHE IS BEING HELD IN JAIL ON $10,000 BOND.     POLICE OFFICER J.T. THOMPSON SAID EHLINGER WOULD TAKE MONEY OUT OF THE DAILY DEPOSIT AND USE THE MONEY FOR
PERSONAL USE.   SHE THEN TRIED TO REPAY THE MONEY WITH FUTURE
DEPOSITS.

ON THE POLICE BLOTTER:    ANGIE KIEM OF 402 EAST PLEASANT STREET REPORTED SATURDAY THAT SOMEONE BROKE INTO THE SCALE HOUSE.  NOTHING WAS REPORTED MISSING.

THE MAQUOKETA VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CALLED TO A FIRE ALARM AT BANOWETZ ANTIQUES SUNDAY MORNING....TURNED OUT TO BE
A FALSE ALARM.

NUMBERS WERE DOWN FOR THE 15TH ANNUAL TIMBER CITY ADVENTURE

THERE WERE ONLY 34 TEAMS.
THERE WERE JUST 4 MAQUOKETA PARTICIPANTS:   DEAN KLOFT,
DARYL DAVISON, BLAISE WALLER, BRADLEY WALLER.
I WOULD THINK THE CHAMBER NEEDS TO GIVE SERIOUS THOUGHT TO
ENDING THIS EVENT FOR LACK OF INTEREST.

CONGRATULATIONS TO KMAQ'S LEIGHTON HEPKER AND WIFE CINDY,
CELEBRATING THEIR 35TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY TODAY.

HAVE A GOOD WEEK.
