MONDAY DAILY REPORT

IT SNOWED IN MAQUOKETA THIS MORNING....WE PROBABLY GOT AN
INCH.
IT WAS COLD ALSO, WITH A HIGH OF 31.
TOMORROW, PARTY SUNNY AND HIGH OF 29.
WEDNESDAY, SUNNY AND HIGH OF 26
THANKSGIVING DAY, MOSTLY SUNNY AND HIGH OF 32.

THE KMAQ TRAVEL TRIP TO BRANSON WAS A GOOD ONE.    GO TO

TOOK THERE.

A COUPLE ACCIDENTS:
DOUGLAS HUTE, AGE 16, OF MAQUOKETA  WAS DRIVING WEST ON 45TH AVENUE AT 3 YESTERDAY AFTERNOON AND WHEN GOING AROUND A CURVE, HE LOST CONTROL ON LOOSE GRAVEL AND THE TRUCK ROLLED ONTO IT'S TOP.        $8,000 DAMAGE TO THE 2000 CHEVY PICKUP.    HUTE WAS NOT INJURED.

AMY EADS, AGE 25, OF MAQUOKETA, AT 7:40 THIS MORNING, BRAKED TO STOP AT MATTESON AND MAPLE AND SLID INTO THE CURB.    $200 IN DAMAGES TO HER 2003 CHEVY.   NO INJURIES AND NO CHARGES FILED.

THE JACKSON COUNTY HOLIDAY EXTRAVAGANZA WAS HELD SATURDAY  NIGHT AND SUNDAY AFTERNOON AT OHNWARD FINE ARTS CENTER.
I TOOK SOME PHOTOS YESTERDAY AFTERNOON AND THEY ARE
BELOW TODAY'S REPORT.    NOT A BAD SHOW, BUT NOT A GOOD
ATTENDANCE.  

DEBI DURHAM, DIRECTOR OF THE STATE OF IOWA ENCONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY WILL BE IN JACKSON COUNTY FOR A NOON
LUNCHEON AT HURSTVILLE INTERPRETIVE CENTER, AT NOON TUESDAY,
DECEMBER 10TH.    SHE WILL TALK ABOUT JACKSON COUNTY'S NEW ECONOMIC ALLIANCE AND ALSO WHAT'S HAPPENING ON THE STATE
SCENE.   ANYONE MAY ATTEND, BUT YOU NEED TO RSVP BY DECEMBER
4TH TO 652-4549.    COST, $10.
