WE HAD SUNSHINE TODAY ON AND OFF AND IT WAS FAIRLY PLEASANT
OUT, BUT STILL COLD FOR THIS TIME OF THE YEAR.....38 THE HIGH.

TEN MAQUOKETA COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT EMPLOYEES HAVE BEEN APPROVED FOR EARLY RETIREMENT.
THEY ARE:  LINDA LANGE FROM MIDDLE SCHOOL,  WHO HAS SERVED THE
DISTRICT FOR 40 YEARS.
KATHY SHEARER OF CARDINAL ELEMENTARY, ENDING 27 YEARS IN
THE DISTRICT.
BETTY WHEELER, SECRETARY AT THE HIGH SCHOOL, 35 YEARS.
KIM EYRES AT BRIGGS ELEMENTARY, 24 YEARS.
CURRICULUM DIRECTOR HELEN SNELL, WHO HAS SERVED 19 YEARS IN THE DISTRICT.
TERRY JOHANNSEN OF CARDINAL, 37 YEARS.
CHARLIE EASTERLY, COUNSELOR AT CARDINAL, 32 YEARS.
GAIL HANLON, AN AIDE AT BRIGGS, 39 YEARS.
HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER AROLEEN PAULS, 16 YEARS
AND ROBERT ROHWEDDER, BUS DRIVER, 19 YEARS.

AT MAQUOKETA ART EXPERIENCE, A PAINTING OF AN OLD JACKSON
COUNTY BARN HANGS NEAR THE BACK ENTRANCE. 
WHO PAINTED IT?
I HAD 3 READERS OF THIS DAILY EMAIL ME LAST NIGHT.    ALL 3 HAD THE
THE CORRECT NAME:   BARB (BILL) BOWMAN.
I HAVE DECIDED TO GIVE EACH A $10 VOY THEATRE GIFT CARD AND
THEY CAN PICK IT UP FROM  THE FRONT COUNTER HERE AT KMAQ.
