THE JACKSON COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS ARE ADDING
JUST TWO PROJECTS FOR THE YEAR 2018 OF THE UPDATED FIVE-YEAR COUNTY ROAD PLAN.    MORE WILL BE ADDED IF A MUCH TALKED ABOUT FUEL TAX INCREASE FOR IOWA IS APPROVED FOR THE STATE OF  IOWA
BY LEGISLATORS IN DES MOINES.

THE NEW JACKSON COUNTY ECONOMIC ALLIANCE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
IS SEEKING APPLICATIONS FOR THE NEW COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR.   A PERSON EXPERIENCED IN ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT IS BEING SOUGHT AS THE GROUP'S FIRST DIRECTOR.
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS MARCH 27TH.    CALL CITY HALL FOR MORE INFORMATION ON MAKING AN APPLICATION.

A NEW BUSINESS HAS STARTED IN DOWNTOWN MAQUOKETA.   TIM FINN
IS THE OWNER AND HE IS TEACHING TAE-KWON-DO AT 107 SOUTH MAIN
STREET.   CLASSES ARE HELD AT 6:30 EVERY MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY
NIGHT AND ALL AGES CAN PARTICIPATE.    FINN HAS BEEN A TAE-KWON-DO
INSTRUCTOR FOR OVER 25 YEARS.    ANYONE WITH QUESTIONS CAN
