THE MAQUOKETA CARDINAL BOYS (13 AND 8) PLAY DUBUQUE WAHLERT TONIGHT AT 7 AT THE MAQUOKETA HIGH SCHOOL GYM. MATT CLARK WILL HAVE THE GAME ON KMAQ-FM. WE NO LONGER HAVE KMAQ ON OUR

FROM MAQUOKETA COMMUNITY SERVICES TO BUILD WHAT IS BEING
CALLED A "TOT LOT" FOR LITTLE CHILDREN.
AND MIKE AND SHERYL HAYES HAVE DONATED $500 TOWARD THE PARK, IN MEMORY OF THEIR SON, BRANDON. OTHER DONATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE MAQUOKETA CITY HALL.
MAQUOKETA CITY COUNCIL MEETING AT 7 TONIGHT.
THE MAQUOKETA FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CALLED TO AN ELECTRICAL FIRE AT 6:22 A.M. YESTERDAY TO THE KENNY MOORE HOME AT 816 VINE STREET.
THERE WAS NO FIRE. THE PROBLEM WAS WITH THE BLOWER ON THE FURNACE, THAT PRODUCED SMOKE.
THE NEW OWNER OF THE DECKER HOTEL SAYS IT WILL RE-OPEN IN
EARLY MARCH. SOME PAINTING HAS BEEN DONE AND WORK STARTED THIS MORNING ON NEW STEPS LEADING TO THE FRONT DOOR.
