MAQUOKETA AND PUT UP IN THE GREEN SPACE WHERE BUILDINGS
WERE BEFORE THE BIG FIRE. LIGHTED...LOOKS GOOD. THANKS TO THE CHAMBER AND MAQUOKETA MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC UTILITY.

THE IOWA MIXED-DOUBLES STATE BOWLING TOURNAMENT (HELD DURING 3 WEEKENDS) ENDED LAST WEEKEND. THERE WERE 104 TEAMS IN IT.
THE MAQUOKETA TEAM FROM THE SATURDAY NIGHT MIXED LEAGUE AT TIMBER LANES IN MAQUOKETA, WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP. THE BUD LITE
TEAM MEMBERS ARE: NASTASHA RIORDAN, JOSH RIORDAN, KASANDRA
KLEINSTIVER AND TIM JOCHUM. THEIR WINNING TEAM SCORE WAS 3,194.

THE MAQUOKETA SCHOOL BOARD HAS AGREED TO HIRE A JUVENILE LIAISON
PERSON TO REPLACE THERESA CLARK WHO RECENTLY RESIGNED TO TAKE THE JACKSON COUNTY JUVENILE PROBATION POSITION.
