$504,867. THE ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE WAS $650,000. CONSTRUCTION WILL START SOON AND THE BUILDING WILL BE COMPLETED AFTER THE FIRST OF THE YEAR.
THE MAQUOKETA 9-1-1 PHONE IS WORKING, BUT THE DESPATCHER HAS TO
ASK THE ADDRESS OF THE PERSON ON THE PHONE. THE PHONE
COMPANY IS WORKING ON THE PROBLEM. NORMALLY, THE ADDRESS IS AUTOMATIC.
MAQUOKETA MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC MANAGER MIKE NICKESON HAS
BEEN ELECTED TO THE BOARD OF THE UNILITY'S SUPPLIER, WPPI
