NEW IN MAQUOKETA!
FOR 54 YEARS (AS LONG AS I HAVE LIVED HERE) I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO BUY AN ORANGE JULIUS DRINK IN MAQUOKETA.
NOW I CAN! AND DID LAST NIGHT! NOW AVAILABLE AT BIEHL'S DIARY QUEEN. ONE OF THE FIRST DQ'S TO ADD THE FROZEN BEVERAGE.
THIS DELICIOUS BEVERAGE DATES BACK TO 1926. IMPROVED IN 1929 AND
IT REALLY BECAME A HIT AT THE LITTLE STAND OWNED BY JULIUS.
FANS WOULD WALK UP AND SAY...."GIVE ME AN ORANGE JULIUS!"
AND THAT'S HOW IT GOT ITS NAME. IN THE 50'S, IT STARTED TO BE
FEATURED IN MOST COVERED MALLS IN AMERICA. AND IN 1964 IT WAS
THE OFFICIAL BEVERAGE OF THE CHICAGO WORLD'S FAIR.
THANKS TO DAIRY QUEEN, WE NOW CAN ENJOY AN "ORANGE JULIUS"
WHENEVER WE WANT. AND THIS WEEKEND IT WILL BE ON SPECIAL....
PRICE REDUCED TO ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TRY ORANGE JULIUS'
