LAST NIGHT'S CASH DRAWING WINNER AT THE FAIR AS NIKKI THOMPSON AND THEY DID NOT LIST WHERE SHE LIVES. IT WAS FOR $500.
MARY ANN HARWICK OF MAQUOKETA WON THE QUILT RAFFLE AT THE FAIR.
GRANT GANZER OF JOHNSTON WON THE BILL RILEY TALENT SHOW
(SENIOR DIVISION) AT THE FAIR SATURDAY NIGHT, SINGING WITH
GUITAR. HE NOW GOES ON TO THE STATE FAIR COMPETITION.
HE HAS RELATIVES IN JACKSON COUNTY.
THE SPROUT DIVISION WAS WON BY ISAIAH WALSH OF MAQUOKETA, PLAYING THE PIANO. HE ALSO GOES TO THE STATE FAIR TO COMPETE.
MY BEST SANDWICH AT THE FAIR....THE GRILLED TURKEY FILET....PREPARED BY THE JACKSON COUNTY POULTRY ASSOCIATION, CELEBRATING THEIR
5TH ANNIVERSARY THIS YEAR.
