SUNNY, LITTLE WIND AND 82 TODAY.
WE WILL BE IN THE 90'S SATURDAY AND SUNDAY SHIRLEY.

THE HOSPITAL BOARD HELD A SPECIAL CLOSED MEETING YESTERDAY
AND IN OPEN SESSION, GAVE APPROVAL TO ALLOW CEO CURT COLEMAN
SOME LIMITED  EXPANDED DUTIES.   MORE INFORMATION WILL
BE RELEASED SOON.    HIS OFFICE IS HERE IN MAQUOKETA, HE WORKS
FOR GENESIS HEALTH SYSTEM AND HE TOLD SHERI MELVOLD THAT HE
WILL BE TAKING ON INTERIM RESPONSIBILITIES WITH GENESIS WHILE
MAINTAINING HIS ROLE AT THE HOSPITAL HERE.

THE MAQUOKETA CITY COUNCIL POSTPONED A DECISION ON WHETHER
TO DONATE MONEY TO THE MAQUOKETA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
THE FINANCE COMMITEE WANTS TO DISCUSS THE ISSUE FURTHER
BEFORE BRINGING THEIR PLAN TO THE WHOLE COUNCIL.
I BELIEVE THE CHAMBER IS ASKING FOR NEARLY $20,000, WHICH
WOULD INCLUDE FUNDS FOR HEALTH INSURANCE.
