WERE ARRESTED IN ANAMOSA THIS WEEK AND ARE FACING BURGLARY CHARGES. ANAMOSA POLICE SAID OVER THE PAST WEEKEND, ABOUT TWO
DOZEN BURGLARIES HAPPENED IN THEIR CITY...IN CARS, STORAGE SHEDS AND
GARAGES. THE TWO FROM MAQUOKETA AND A TEENAGER FROM ANAMOSA
WERE FOUND IN POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY EARLY SUNDAY MORNING AND TAKEN INTO CUSTODY. THOSE CHARGED ARE BEING HELD IN THE JONES COUNTY JAIL.
MAQUOKETA HAS A VACANCY ON THE CITY COUNCIL AND THE COUNCIL
PLANS TO APPOINT SOMEONE. ANYONE INTERESTED IS ASKED TO
