ASHLEY DENHERDER OF MAQUOKETA.
BOTH YAROLEM AND DENHERDER SPENT THE NIGHT IN JAIL.
TWO VEHICLES COLLIDED ON ROCKDALE ROAD JUST NORTH OF MAQUOKETA.
ONE DRIVEN BY PAUL LAUGHLIN, 37, OF MAQUOKETA. THE OTHER BY COURTNAY MORTENSON, AGE 19, OF MAQUOKETA. MORTENSON WAS
CHARGED WITH UNSAFE PASSING. $900 DAMAGE TO LAUGHLIN'S LINCOLN
AND $2,500 DAMAGE TO MORTENSON'S PICKUP.
ON MAQUOKETA POLICE BLOTTER: TIM CHAPIN AT 120 N. ELIZA REPORTED
AN AMERICAN FLAG AND POLE WERE TAKEN ON SUNDAY.

ROSEMARY GORRELL DIED YESTERDAY AT ENNOBLE MANOR IN DUBUQUE.
HER HUSBAND WAS AN OPTOMITRIST IN MAQUOKETA UNTIL 1990 WHEN
HE RETIRED AND THEY MOVED TO DUBUQUE. SHE WAS PRECEDED BY
HER HUSBAND, RICHARD "DICK". SHE IS SURVIVED BY 3 SONS.
