STORAGE. THERE WERE 3 OTHER LOWER BIDS. THE SECOND HIGHEST, BY
STEVE MOORE, WAS FOR $71,000.
BIDS FOR THE NEARLY 3 ACRES OF LAND ALSO OWNED BY THE COUNTY, ACROSS FROM SUNSHINE, WERE ALSO OPENED THIS MORNING. THAT PROPERTY ON
CRESLANE AND GERMAN STREET IS APPLRAISED FOR $56,300. STEVE MOORE
OF MAQUOKETA HAD THE HIGH BID OF $21,000. THERE WERE 2 OTHERS. THE
2ND HIGHEST WAS FOR $7,501. NO ACTION WAS TAKEN BY THE SUPERVISORS.
THEY CAN ACCEPT OR REFUSE BIDS.

MINOR ACCIDENT YESTERDAY SHORTLY AFTER NOON. DONNA SAID, 74, STOPPED AT THE LIGHT ON CARLISLE AND A CAR BEHIND, DRIVEN BY GERI STERBANZ, AGE 20, STOPPED BEHIND SAID BUT THEN PULLED AHEAD AND HIT SAID'S VEHICLE.
STERBENZ WAS CHARGED. $750 DAMAGE TO SAID'S 99 PONTIAC AND $750 DAMAGE ALSO TO STERBENZ'S 2005 FORD. NO INJUREIES.

ON THE POLICE BLOTTER, A THEFT REPORT. SOMEONE TOOK A LAPTOP AND BACKPACK WITH CLOTHES FROM A VEHICLE OWNED BY WILL RENNER WHILE IT WAS PARKED AT FLAPJACK RESTAURANT.
