TRUCK STOP PROPERTY ALONG MYATT DRIVE. AFTER MORE THAN 15 YEARS OF CLEANUP, THE DNR EARLIER THIS YEAR GAVE THE PROPERTY A CLEAN BILL.
NOW THE SUPERVISORS WANT TO SELL THE PROPERTY AND GET IT BACK ON THE TAX ROLLS. BRAD DEERY MOTORS RENTS THE LAND AND WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE TO RENT IT IF IT IS NOT SOLD. A PUBLIC HEARING WOULD HAVE TO HAPPEN BEFORE THE LAND COULD BE SOLD.
THE IOWA 4-H SHOOTING SPORTS PROJECT IN SEPTEMBER HELD THE STATE MATCH AND QUALIFIER COMPETITION AT BIG SPRINGS RANGE WEST OF MONTEZUMA.
