MURDER CHARGES HAVE BEEN DISMISSED AGAINST DANIELLE HOLDGRAFER, AGE 30, WHO WAS ACCUSED OF KILLING HER 4 YEAR OLD ADOPTED SON, COLLIN ON JUNE 12TH IN THEIR ANDREW APARTMENT. COUNTY ATTORNEY CHRIS RAKER FILED THE REQUEST FOR DISMISSAL. THE REQUEST SAID THE STATE DOES NOT BELIEVE THAT IT HAS SUFFICIENT EVIDENCE TO PROCEEDS WITH THE MURDER IN THE FIRST DEGREE COUNT. SHE STILL FACES CHARGES OF CHILD ENDANGERMENT RESULTING IN THE DEATH, AND TWO COUNTS OF CHILD ENDANGERMENT RESULTING IN BODILY INJURY. SHE REMAINS AT THE JONES COUNTY JAIL IN ANAMOSA ON $200,000 CASH BOND.
MAQUOKETA CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS TOLD A MAQUOKETA WOMAN, CINDY HOLDSWORTH, SHE WOULD HAVE TO GET RID OF HER TWO PIT BULLS FOLLOWING THE HEARING LAST NIGHT. COUNCIL MEMBERS UNANIMOUSLY UPHELD THE CITY'S ORDINANCE WHICH BANS PIT BULLS FROM BEING INSIDE THE CITY LIMITS.
OHNWARD FINE ARTS CENTER IN MAQUOKETA HAS ANNOUNED THAT THE 6TH
ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF TREES WILL BE HELD THIS YEAR FROM NOVEMBER 13TH
