AT THE MAQUOKETA MASONIC CENTER (UP BY BANOWETZ ANTIQUE MALL)
ON McKINSEY DRIVE, A "SHOES FOR KIDS" PROJECT WAS STARTED IN 2000 AND SINCE THAT TIME, THE MASONS HAVE PURCHASED OVER 600 PAIR OF SHOES AND BOOTS FOR THE NEEDY IN OUR AREA. THE PHOTO ABOVE SHOWS 14 PAIR THAT THEY ADDED TO THE TOTAL THIS WEEK AND WERE PRESENTED AT THE BRIGGS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN MAQUOKETA. AT LEFT IS ROBERT CHRISTENSEN OF THE MASONS AND PAT BOLLMAN, BRIGGS PRINCIPAL.
