THE OHNWARD FINE ARTS CENTER CELEBRATED THE SEASON ....AND THE FIFTH
ANNIVERSARY OF THE CENTER...SATURDAY NIGHT AT 7:30 P.M. IN THE
CENTER'S KOPEL THEATRE,THAT SEATS NEARLY 850.     ANN PITCHER HAWKS BEGAN THE EVENING ENTERTAINMENT SINGING "THE BIRTHDAY OF THE KING",
WITH SUSAN DADISMAN AT HER GUITAR.   OPENING REMARKS WERE BY GARY DREW, WHO WAS 'THEE' MAIN PERSON IN THE BUILDING OF THE AUDITORIUM AND BY
PAMELA CRAWFORD, WHO WAS THE PRODUCER/DIRECTOR OF SATURDAY NIGHT'S EVENT.  LINDA CURRENT STEWART AWARDED LIFETIME TICKETS TO THE
TWO MOST OUTSTANDING VOLUNTEERS THE PAST FIVE YEARS AT THE CENTER....
DEAN SCHMIDT AND NANCY TOUTSCH.         NEXT, THE PROFESSIONAL MUSIC
FOR THE EVENING, PRESENTED BY THE "FIVE SEASONS CHAMBER MUSIC
FESTIVAL" OF CEDAR RAPIDS.....TWO VIOLINS, A VIOLA, DOUBLE BASS AND
PIANO.   IN THE PHOTO ABOVE,  RICHARD HALL, THE NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE OHNWARD FINE ARTS CENTER GREETING EVERYONE.     HE IS A DUBUQUE NATIVE AND WORKED AT THE GRAND THEATRE FOR 12 YEARS, WAS ALSO A
DUBUQUE RADIO ANNOUNCER AND THE PAST TWO YEARS WAS MANAGER OF
TIMBER LAKE PLAYHOUSE AT MT. CARROLL, ILLINIOIS.
