GERALDINE LINDSEY, 76, DIED MAY 13TH AT VINTON. SHE WAS RAISED IN MAQUOKETA AND GRADUATED FROM MAQUOKETA HIGH SCHOOL IN 1951.
PARENTS WERE FRED AND OLETHA BRUST FLETCHER.
SURVIVED BY HER HUSBAND, MARVIN, TWO SONS AND ONE DAUGHTER.

THE ANNUAL JACKSON COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY GARAGE SALE WILL BE TUESDAY, JUNE 9TH THRU SATURDAY JUNE 13TH AT BOYER HALL. HOPE YOU

THIS MONDAY AT THE MAQUOKETA MIDDLE SCHOOL GYM. IT WILL START AT 10:30 A.M. ST. REP. TOM SCHUELLER OF MAQUOKETA WILL GIVE THE ADDRESS.
LEGION COMMANDER CLIF MERRIC KWI LL BE THE MASTER OF CEREMONIES.
BURTON ROMER, VFW COMMANDER WILL GIVE THE INVOCATION. LOGAN'S GENERAL ORDERS WILL BE GIVEN BY MONA EASTMAN, LEGION AUXILIARY PRESIDENT AND RICHARD FIX WILL GIVE LINCOLN'S GETTYSBURG ADDRESS.
THE MAQUOKETA HIGH SCHOOL BAND WILL PERFORM. TOM CROUCH WILL GIVE THE BENEDICTION. FOLLOWING THE MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAM THERE WILL BE A SPECIAL MEMORIAL SERVICE AT THE G.A.R. MEMORIAL AT MOUNT HOPE CEMETERY. THE EVENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

THE FIRST OF TWO PUBLIC HEARINGS WILL BE HELD REQUESTING A ZONING CHANGE FOR A BIODIESEL PLANT AT RURAL MAQUOKETA WILL BE HILD AT 1:45 NEXT TUESDAY AFTERNOON. GARY DREW OWNS THE PLANT AND WANTS TO
BUILD A NEW BUILDING ON THE LAND WHICH NEEDS TO BE CHANGED FROM AGRICULTURE TO M1 INDUSTRIAL. THE MEETING WILL BE HELD AT THE COURTHOUSE IN MAQUOKETA.
