ANOTHER "HOOP TO JUMP THROUGH" IN THE EFFORT TO GET THE OLD TRUCK STOP AT MAQUOKETA CLEANED UP TO SATISFY THE DNR. THIS WEEK, THE DNR WANTS THE THREE WELLS TESTED ON THE PROPERTY, AT A COST OF $3,330. IT WILL, LIKE ALL PAST WORK (FOR ABOUT 15 YEARS NOW), BE PAID FOR BY THE STATE FUEL CLEAN-UP PROGRAM. THE PROPERTY BELONGS TO THE COUNTY AND WHEN THE DNR SAYS SO...IT CAN BE SOLD AND THE PROPERTY CAN GO BACK ON THE TAX ROLLS.
NOW, THE PROPERTY IS LEASED BY BRAD DEERY MOTORS, FOR VEHICLE STORAGE.
BE SURE AND CHECK THE TWO NEW PHOTOS BELOW.
HAVE A GOOD SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.
