WALK OF PRIDE. THE FRONT CIRCLE DRIVE PLAZA WILL HAVE AREAS WHERE
BRICKS WILL BE INSERTED WITH NAMES ON CONCRETE PAVERS. THEY WILL
BE PERSONALIZED ENGRAVED BRICKS, COSTING ANYWHERE FRO $125 TO $2,500 FOR THE LARGEST. SUPT. KIM HUCKSTADT SAID ESTIMATES ARE THEY COULD RAISE
$150,000 FROM THE PAVERS. THE BOARD HAS NOT INDICATED WHAT THEY MONEY WOULD BE USED FOR.
MAQUOKETA'S NEW POLICE OFFICER, CHAD WEIPERT, WAS SWORN-IN LAST NIGHT BY MAYOR TOM MESSERLI. HE REPLACES DAN FURLONG WHO LEFT TO JOIN THE SCOTT COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE. WEIPERT HAS LAW ENFORCEMENT EXPERIENCE
