IT SNOWED LAST NIGHT... IT HAS BEEN SNOWING ALL MORNINGL...IT IS NOON AND IT IS STILL SNOWING. ABOUT 12 INCHES SO FAR. MAQUOKETA AND AREA IS SHUT DOWN. WE HAVE HAD HUNDREDS OF CLOSINGS AND CANCELLATIONS. HIGHWAY 61 NORTH IS OPEN, BUT ABOUT 20 SEMI'S IN THE DITCH AND TRAVEL NOT ADVISED
ANYWHERE IN AREA. SNOW IS EXPECTED TO END THIS AFTERNOON LATE.
LITTLE OR NO SNOW IN FORECAST FOR TONIGHT, AND TOMORROW OR FRIDAY.
THE KMAQ FARM AND HOME SHOW IS STILL ON AND WILL START AT 10:30 TOMORROW (THURSDAY) MORNING AT THE FAIRGROUNDS IN MAQUOKETA.
