A MOBILE HOME FIRE THIS AFTERNOON ON THE CAVES ROAD NORTHWEST OF MAQUOKETA. THE BEN BOLLINGER HOME
WAS DESTROYED. A DOG DIED IN THE FIRE. NO ONE WAS HOME AT THE TIME OF THE FIRE. THE FAMILY IS LIVING IN ANOTHER MOBILE HOME NEARBY.

WE HAVE HAD A RASH OF PAINT BALL VANDALISM INCIDENTS IN MAQUOKETA THIS PAST WEEK, INCLUDING OVER THE WEEKEND. POLICE CHIEF BRAD KORANDA SAYS CHARGES ARE PENDING AGAINT THREE JUVENILES.
