THE JACKSON COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS AT THEIR MEETING THIS MORNING LEARNED THAT THE COMMUNITY CARE RESIDENTS WHO ARE STAYING AT THE ANDREW JACKSON CARE FACILITY WILL MOVE BACK TO THEIR CHARLOTTE ROOMS LATER IN WEEK OR EARLY NEXT WEEK.
AT THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING LAST NIGHT, THE COUNCIL DECIDED AGAINST AN ORDINANCE THEY WERE PROPOSING TO HAVE BUSINESS PARKING LOTS IN CITY TREATED WITH A DUST CONTROL PRODUCT, AFTER TWO BUSINESSMEN, RICK DECKER AND LOUIE CLASEN, SAID IT WOULD BE COSTLY TO DO THIS ON THEIR LOTS ANNUALLY, AND THEY WERE AGAINST THE ISSUE, ESPECIALLY IF NO ONE HAS COMPLAINED ABOUT THEIR LOTS. DO, THE COUNCIL DECIDED TO PASS AN ORDINANCE CALLING OR THE ANNUAL APPLICATION ONLY WHEN A PARKING LOT RECEIVED A COMPLAINT AT CITY HALL.
