A GRAD STUDENT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA LAST NIGHT, PROPOSED TO HIS GIRL, AT THE 61 DRIVE-IN THEATRE. THERE WAS NO MOVIE LAST NIGHT, BUT A 15 MINUTES VIDEO HE PRODUCED WAS SHOWN ON THE BIG SCREEN, WITH APPROPRIATE MUSIC. HER PARENTS WERE PRESENT ALONG WITH I AND A FRIEND. SHE WAS SURPRISED. ALL WENT
WELL AND.........SHE SAID "YES!" A CHAMPAGNE TOAST FOLLOWED.
NO DATE FOR THE WEDDING HAS BEEN SELECTED. THEY BOTH HAVE ATTENDED MOVIES IN THE PAST AT THE DRIVE-IN AND ARE MOVIE BUFFS AND FANS OF THE 61. IT WAS THE SECOND MARRIAGE PROPOSAL OUT THERE THIS YEAR AND THE FIRST TWO EVER. THE FIRST PROPOSAL WAS IN FRONT OF A FULL HOUSE AT THE 61 AND THEY ENJOYED THE ADDED BONUS THAT NIGHT. AND THE YOUNG LADY THEN ALSO SAID "YES"!

ISN'T LOVE GRAND?
