90-PLUS SATURDAY, SUNDAY AND MONDAY!
BUT, ITS NOT SOOO BAD....NOT AS HORRIBLY DRY AS DOWN IN ARIZONA....MORE HUMID, MORE SWEATY. GIVE ME MORE....MILLER OR BUD LITE WEATHER!

AT A SPECIAL MEETING, THE JACKSON COUNTY REGIONAL HOSPITAL BOARD MET AND APPROVED A 5 PERCENT ACROSS THE BOARD COST INCREASE, BEGINNING JULY 1ST.
THE REASON IS BECAUSE THE HOSPITAL MUST GIVE ITS LONG TERM CARE RESIDENTS AND HEALTH INSURANCE CONTRACTS A 30-DAY NOTICE AND ACTING AT THE JUNE MEETING WOULD HAVE BEEN TOO LATE.
AND THE BOARD LEANED THAT THERE HAVE BEEN 10 CASES OF MUMPS IN JACKSON COUNTY. VACCINE HAS NOW BEEN OFFERED TO ANYONE FROM AGE 26 TO 46 AND AT A RECENT PUBLIC CLINIC ...JUST 4 PEOPLE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THE FREE MUMP'S VACCINE. THE MUMP'S SCARE APPARETLY IS NOW OVER, HERE IN EASTERN IOWA, WITH ONLY A FEW NEW CASES REPORTED LAST WEEK IN THIS AREA.

OH OH, JUST REMBERED I HAVE A HAIRCUT APPOINTMENT IN 10 MINUTES SO I CAN NOT FINISH THIS.

MORE TOMORROW.

HAVE A GOOD WEEK.
