A WELTON MAN, WAS KILLED IN A TWO-VEHICLE ACCIDENT YESTERDAY AFTERNOON JUST WEST OF CALAMUS ON A SNOW-COVERED ROAD. JEFFREY BURMEISTER, 37, WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD AT THE HOSPTIAL IN DEWITT.
A BUNCH OF OTHER ACCIDENTS THE LAST COUPLE DAYS BECAUSE OF THE WEATHER.
ERIC AND KIM BOWLING OF MAQUOKETA ARE PARENTS OF A BOY BORN LAST SATURDAY AT THE LOCAL HOSPITAL. GRANDPARENTS ARE TOM AND MARTHA
BOWLING OF MAQUOKETA.
NO MAQUOKETA HIGH BASKETBALL GAMES TONIGHT.....TOMORROW, THE DWIGHT ZIMMERMAN INVITATIONAL WRESTLING TOURNAMENT WILL BE HELD ALL DAY AT THE MAQUOKETA HIGH SCHOOL GYM.
