WE GOT SNOW SHOWERS THIS AFTERNOON....
RAIN AND SNOW SHOWERS TONIGHT, BUT NO ACCUMULATION...
HOWEVER, 1 TO 3 INCHES POSSIBLE TOMORROW NIGHT.

SCHOOL BOARD MEETING TONIGHT. THERE ARE 9 REQUESTS FOR EARLY RETIREMENT.

THE OWL FURNITURE STORE HAS BEEN SOLD AND MAY RE-OPEN AS A FURNITURE STORE.

A MAQUOKETA COUPLE, MARVIN JORGENSEN, AGE 75 AND HIS WIFE, GLORIA, AGE 68, WERE IN A CAR ACCIDENT AT 12:09 A.M. SATURDAY IN RURAL CLINTON COUNTY. MARVIN WAS DRIVING AND FELL ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL AND THE CAR CROSSED THE CENTERLINE, WENT INTO THE DITCH, CAME OUT OF DITCH, CROSSED BOTH LANES AND WENT INTO THE NORTH DITCH, ROLLING ONCE, AND CAME TO REST ON ITS WHEELS IN A CORNFIELD. DAMAGE TO 2002 CAR, $15,000. THEY BOTH DECLINED AMBULANCE TRANSPORT AND MARIVIN WAS CHARGED.

DAVID WILLGUS, AGE 48, DIED SUDDENLY AT HIS HOME THURSDAY IN MAQUOKETA. HIS OBITURARY CAN BE READ AT WWW.CARSONANDSON.COM
