MAQUOKETA WON THEIR FOOTBALL GAME FRIDAY NIGHT...AN UPSET WIN. THEY CLOSE OUT THE SEASON THIS FRIDAY NIGHT, HOSTING DEWITT.

MAQUOKETA FIREMEN CALLED TO A DELIVERY VAN FIRE AT 9 THIS MORNING ON NORTHBOUND LANE OF HIGHWAY 61....NO ON INJURED.....FIREMEN AT SCENE FOR 40 MINUTES.

MAQUOKETA CITY COUNCIL SHORT MEETING TONIGHT. WILL TALK ABOUT SOME TIF FUNDING FOR SUNSHINE SCHOOL AND ALSO TALK ABOUT THE WALKING TRAIL.

ARDELLA STANER, 87, OF MAQUOKETA, DIED TODAY AT BRIARWOOD CARE CENTER IN MAQUOKETA.
