MAQUOKETA LOST THEIR FOOTBALL GAME AT MT. VERNON FRIDAY NIGHT, AND THEIR RECORD IS NOW 0 AND 3.

MAQUOKETA CITY COUNCIL MEETING TONIGHT.

JACKSON COUNTY'S UNEMPLOYMENT RATE IN AUGUST WAS
4.8 PERCENT, UP FROM 4.4 IN JULY.

THERE WAS A TWO VEHICLE ACCIDENT LAST NIGHT ON HIGHWAY 61 JUST PAST THE SUMMIT STREET OVERPASS.
LOTS OF EMERGENCY VEHICLES WERE THERE. BUT, NO INFORMATION WAS AVAILABLE TODAY BECAUSE TEH MAQUOKETA POLICE DEPARTMENT HAS DECLINED TO PROVIDE THE ACCIDENT REPORT SAYING THERE ARE QUESTIONS ABOUT THE DRIVERS.
