ARTERBERRY OF MAQUOKETA, ROLLED HIS FIRST 300. HE STARTED WITH A 219, THEN 246 AND FINISHED WITH THE 300....FOR A SERIES OF 765, ALSO HIGH FOR THE NIGHT.
BEFORE I FORGET, THE HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL.....ROGERS & HAMMERSTEIN'S CAROUSEL..... LAST FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT WAS VERY GOOD. NEARLY A FULL HOUSE BOTH NIGHTS AT THE NEW OHNWARD AUDITORIUM.
FIVE AREA TEEN AGERS HAVE BEEN CHARGED WITH DRINKING VODKA ON A SCHOOL BUS THAT WAS TRAVELING FROM DELMAR TO MAQUOKETA THE MORNING OF MARCH 9TH. THE DRANK IT WITH 7-UP.
JUVINILE PROBATION OFFICER BRIAN BOPES SAID THE STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO TAKE EDUCATIONAL CLASSES ON ALCOHOL.
EDNA BLANKSCHEIN, AGE 92, OF MAQUOKETA DIED YESTERDAY AT CRESTRIDGE NURSING HOME.
SURVIORS INCLUDE 2 DAUGHTERS, MAARY ANN NEBLUNG OF CLINTON, AND KAREN HENSEN OF MAQUOKETA....ALSO 8 GRAND AND 13 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN.
