ZERO LAST NIGHT,...A HIGH OF 10 TODAY. TONIGHT, BELOW ZERO.

THE MAQUOKETA CARDINAL GIRL'S BASKETBALL TEAM LOST TO DEWITT
LAST NIGHT IN OVERTIME.

DAWN NELSON PURCHASED A 27-INCH TV YESTERDAY AT WALMART AS A GIFT. SHE PUT IT IN THE BACK OF HER PICKUP. ON HER WAY HOME, SHE STOPPED BREIFLY AT THEISEN'S AND WHEN SHE CAME OUT OF THE STORE, SOMEONE HAD TAKEN THE TV, VALUED AT $200.

ONA MAE DENLINGER, 73, OF WYOMING DIED THIS MORNING. SHE FARMED WITH HER HUSBAND ON THE FAMILY FARM FOR 53 YEARS. SURVIVORS INCLUDE A DAUGHTER, LUANN HARA OF MAQUOKETA AND A BROTHER, DEAN BOWMAN OF MAQUOKETA.
