BETTY ZIRKELBACH CELEBRATED HER 85TH BIRTHDAY TODAY.

"WHOLLY SCRAP" BUSINESS IN MAQUOKETA MOVED OVER THE WEEKEND FROM NORTH MAIN STREET TO THE CORNER OF SOUTH MAIN AND PLEASANT STREETS, WHERE "THE BOOK DEPOT" WAS AND WHERE YEARS AGO, "RINGLEP HARDWARE" WAS.

THE "LAZY J" MOTEL IS CLOSED AND I HEARD HAS BEEN SOLD, BY TOM PECKOSH.

THE LONGTIME OFFICE BUILDING OF DR. LEO BIEHL ON NORTH MAIN STREET
HAS BEEN SOLD. AGAIN, MORE LATER.
