A MAQUOKETA MAN WAS IN AN ACCIDENT SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND HAD TO BE RESCUED FROM HIS TRUCK AFTER IT WENT INTO THE DITCH NEAR NASHVILLE, EAST OF MAQUOKETA. RICKY CLARK, 52, WAS HANGING FROM HIS SEAT BELT WHEN THE MAQUOKETA RESCUE SQUAD ASRRIVED. HE WAS FREED AND REFUSED MEDICAL TREATMENT.

COURT NEWS: JANET HOWELL, AGE 51, OF MAQUOEKTA WAS CHARGED WITH OPERATING A VEHICLE WHILE INTOXICATED. SHE WAS ARRESTED FRIDAY NIGHT.
BUTCH EHLERS, AGE 62, OF OXFORD JUNCTION, DIED THIS MORNING AT HIS HOME. HE WORKED THE LAST 8 YEARS FOR PACIFIC COAST FEATHER COMPANY IN MAQUOKETA, RETIRING THIS YEAR.
