THE PROPERTY IS LOCATED AT THE WEST EDGE OF MAQUOKETA.
THE PROPERTY HAS A SHARED DRIVEWAY WITH A RESIDENCE.   THIS SHARED DRIVEWAY WAS THE MAIN REASON THE REQUEST WAS DENIED.

RICHARD WAGGONER ON SOUTH VERMONT BOTH REPORTED THAT
SOMEONE HAD GONE THROUGH THEIR VEHICLE EARLY THIS WEEK.

EVERY WEEK, I TALK TO PEOPLE WHO REGULARLY READ THIS DAILY
REPORT AND LIKE IT....INCLUDING A COUPLE IN SIERRA VISTA, ARIZONA.
(WHEN IN THE ARMY IN THE 60'S, I  ATTENDED A RADAR SCHOOL
AT A MILITARY BASE THERE,  NOT FAR FROM THE MEXICAN BORDER)
JANE GAILANT AND HER HUSBAND ARE IN TOWN BECAUSE OF THE
FUNERAL OF JANE'S MOTHER, JACQUELINE FISCHER,  WHO DIED AS THE RESULT OF INJURIES IN AN AUTO ACCIDENT WEST OF MAQUOKETA LAST WEEK.     THE FUNERAL WAS YESTERDAY.     JACQUELINE  HAD TWO CHILDREN, JANE OF SIERRA VISTA AND KEVIN OF MAQUOKETA.   JACQUELINE VISITED HER DAUGHTER DOWN SOUTH FOR SEVERAL WEEKS LATE LAST YEAR  AND THEY CHECKED THIS REPORT DAILY.     BECAUSE JANE'S  HUSBAND WAS IN THE ARMY FOR 9 YEARS, THEY HAVE LIVED IN QUITE A FEW PLACES, INCLUDING GERMANY.   NOW, THEY ARE RETIRED IN ARIZONA AND ESPECIALLY LIKE THE WEATHER.    ANYWAY, IT WAS INTERESTING TALKING TO THEM  AT THE FUNERAL HOME AND LEARNING THAT THEIR TOWN HAS GROWN A LOT SINCE MY THREE MONTH STAY NEAR THERE AS AN ARMY PRIVATE.
SOMETIMES WHEN WRITING THIS,  I WONDER IF MAYBE THIS "DAILY" HAS A MAQUOKETA NATIVE READER IN EVERY STATE.     REMEMBER, EMAILS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME.

I CELEBRATE 40 YEARS OF THE VOY THEATRE THIS COMING WEEK.
