I TOOK THIS PHOTO THIS AFTERNOON AS I PASSED THE FIRE STATION.
IT IS FIRE PREVENTION WEEK AND KIDS WERE AT THE STATION TO LEARN
ABOUT FIRE PREVENTION.    THIS WAS JUST ONE OF MANY CLASSES BEING
HOSTED THIS WEEK BY FIREMEN.

THIS PHOTO DAVE VOY TOOK AT PIONEER DAY SUNDAY AT THE FAIRGROUNDS OF DON WENTWORTH OF SPRAGUEVILLE AND ONE OF
THE JACKSON COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY'S VERY ACTIVE MEMBERS.  IF DON DOESN'T HAVE THE ANSWER ABOUT SOME HISTORICAL THING IN THE COUNTY, HE WILL FIND THE ANSWER AND GET BACK TO YOU.

MY SON DAVE TAKES THOUSANDS OF PHOTOS ALL OVER THE MAQUOKETA AREA EACH WEEK....AND HE HAS THE CAMERAS AND KNOWLEDGE TO TAKE GOOD ONES.
