BUT, THERE ARE A FEW EARLY EVENTS THIS SUNDAY, STARTING WITH A
PANCAKE BREAKFAST.
AND CONCLUDING SUNDAY AFTERNOON AT 1:30 WITH THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE PARADE MARSHALL, THE FAIR FAMILY AND THE FAIR QUEEN.

WYLIE BORMAN DAUGHTER OF MIKE  AND JAMIE OF PRESTON.
ALLISON KILBURG, DAUGHTER OF RANDY AND CHRIS OF BELLEVUE.

A DELMAR BUSINESS THAT SELLS  LABRADOR RETRIEVERS HAS SOLD
ONE TO FORMER VICE-PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE SARA PALIN OF ALASKA.
CHRIS CLARK OF DELMAR TOOK THE DOG TO DES MOINES AND THE EX-GOVERNOR LIKED IT.   IT WILL BE GIVEN TO PALEN'S SON TRIG, AGE 6.

IN SPORTS:
THE MAQUOKETA BOYS WON A DOUBLE-HEADER OVER INDEPENDENCE
YESTERDAY, WITH 25 HITS, INCLUDING 5 BY LANDON AUNAN.

THE BELLEVUE MARQUETTE GIRLS DEFEATED NEW LONDON YESTERDAY,
3 TO 0 AND WILL GO TO THE STATE TOURNAMENT NEXT TUESDAY (3 PM)
AT FORT DODGE.    THE MOHAWK GIRLS ARE 34 AND 6 AND WILL PLAY 3 GAMES THERE AND ALL 3 WILL BE BROADCAST ON KMAQ BY GARY
DETERMAN.

ANOTHER BUSINESS OF THE PAST....SUE'S HALLMARK, WHICH BURNED TO THE GROUND AND WAS NOT REBUILDT.   THAT WAS OVER 5 YEARS AGO.
THERE IS GREEN GRASS WHERE IT STOOD FOR OVER A HUNDRED YEARS.
