THE JACKSON COUNTY SUPERVISORS SIGNED A TWO YEAR CONTRACT
TO LEASE THE COUNTY FARM TO PHIL AND SHANE STEFFAN OF JACKSON
COUNTY.    THE BROTHERS WILL BE PAYING $109,000 EACH YEAR FOR THE 334 ACRE FARM, LOCATED NORTH OF ANDREW.

THE DEADLINE FOR CANDIDATES TO APPLY FOR THE SUPERINTENDANTS
JOB AT MAQUOKETA SCHOOLS IS THURSDAY, JANUARY 23.   ELEVEN
APPLICATIONS SO FAR.   THE BOARD HOPES TO HAVE A THE JOB
FILLED BY THE END OF FEBRUARY.
