WEDNESDAY DAILY REPORT

THE DAY STARTED OUT WITH SOME VERY LIGHT RAIN...MORE OF A MIST.
ENDED ABOUT 9 AND IT HAS BEEN A CLOUDY, DRY DAY.
PERFECT WEATHER FOR THE  KMAQ FARM AND HOME SHOW.
COLD TONIGHT, DOWN TO 13.
SUNNY AND 28 TOMORROW.
BACK INTO THE 30'S THIS WEEKEND.

IT IS 4 P.M. AND THE FARM AND HOME SHOW HAS BEEN GOING SINCE
10:30 THIS MORNING AT THE FAIRGROUNDS AND WE HAVE HAD A GOOD
ATTENDANCE SO FAR.    HOPEFULLY TONIGHT (UNTIL CLOSING AT 7:30)
WILL ALSO BE GOOD.    OUR  VISITORS  ATE ALMOST 500 PORK RIBLET
SANDWICHES OVER THE NOON HOUR, PREPARED ON THE GRILL OUTSIDE
BY THE JACKSON COUNTY PORK PRODUCERS.   AND THEY WERE DELICIOUS
SANDWICHES.
WE HAD QUITE A FEW ENTRIES FOR OUR FIRST EVERY "MAKE IT WITH
BACON" CONTEST AND I WILL HAVE THE RESULTS TOMORROW.
TOMORROW IS BEEF DAY AND AGAIN, THE DOORS OPEN AT 10:30 A.M.
BUT TOMORROW, THE DAY COMES TO AN END AT 4:30 P.M.  TOMORROW'
IS BEEF DAY.

IN SPORTS, BECAUSE OF THE BAD FORECAST, YESTERDAY THE BASKETBALL GAMES BETWEEN MAQUOKETA (BOYS AND GIRLS) WERE POSTPONED WITH MOUNT VERNON.

THE CITY COUNCIL LAST NIGHT VOTED TO SPEND AROUND $105,000 FOR
A NEW REST ROOM BUILDING AT LITTLE BEAR PARK.   IT IS NEEDED.
LOTS OF MONEY, BUT GUESS IT WILL REALLY BE WELL BUILDT, INCLUDING
LOTS OF STAINLESS STEEL.

HAVE A NICE WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY.

SEE YOU AT THE KMAQ FARM AND HOME SHOW!
CHECK ALL THE PHOTOS BELOW THAT
I TOOK TODAY AT THE SHOW.
MORE TOMORROW.
