LEIGHTON HEPKER IS GRANDPA FOR A SECOND TIME....AND CINDY
HEPKER IS GRANDMA FOR A SECOND TIME.    ADAM AND AMY ARE
THE PARENTS OF BRYSON,  BORN THIS AFTERNOON.   AND SISTER BRENLEY
LOVES HER 7 POUND 5 OUNCE BROTHER, BORN AT A DES MOINES
HOSPITAL.     CONGRATULATIONS TO THE EXPANDED ADAM HEPKER FAMILY OF ANKENY, IOWA.     WILL HE BE A GOOD BASKETBALL PLAYER SOME
DAY?    OF COURSE!

SPEAKING OF BASKETBALL, ANAMOSA LOST THEIR GAME TODAY AT THE
STATE TOURNAMENT, FINISHING 4TH IN THE STATE.    BUT, CASCADE PLAYS TONIGHT FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP. 

SEE A MOVIE THIS WEEKEND AT THE VOY THEATRE....WHERE THE #1 AND #2 MOVIES IN THE COUNTRY HAVE BEEN HELD OVER FOR A 2ND WEEK.
I'VE SEEN THIS MOVIE AND I AM  NOT A FAN OF ANIMATED MOVIE, BUT THIS ONE I REALLY LIKED AND YOUR FAMILY WILL TOO.

JUDITH HEISTER GARDNER, AGE 74, DIED LAST SATURDAY AT NORTH CAROLINA.    SHE WAS BORN IN MAQUOKETA TO LOUIS AND WILMA HEISTER.
THE FUNERAL WAS TUESDAY MORNING AT NORTH CAROLINA AND GRAVESIDE SERVICES WERE THIS MORNING AT HICKORY GROVE CEMETERY IN
MONMOUTH.

MAQUOKETA CITY HALL TODAY ISSUED THE NEWS RELEASE BELOW AND A MAP WITH IT, ALL CONCERNING THE STREET RECONSTRUCTION DOWNTOWN....
